BNP-led 20-party alliance has called a 36-hour nationwide hartal from tomorrow protesting the government’s planned move to hike power tariff and arrest of party leaders and activities. The alliance will observe the shutdown from 6:00am tomorrow, according to a press release signed by BNP Joint Secretary General Rizvi Ahmed. The BNP leader called upon all to make tomorrow’s hartal a success.
