The members of Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) is observing a token hunger strike on the SC premises since this morning protesting attack on pro-BNP and Jamaat lawyers on December 29.
The leaders of SCBA however did not specify the wrapping up time of the hunger strike which started around 10:00am.
On December 29, Awami League activists entered the SC main gate and attacked the lawyers of pro-BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami while the latter was demonstrating there in support of BNP-led 18-party opposition combine’s ‘March for Democracy’ programme.
