BNP joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi today blamed the government for the hartal violence like arson and explosion.
The government-controlled miscreants were torching buses and blasting crude bombs to divert the 18-party’s hartal to a different stream, Rizvi said while talking to reporters at BNP’s Nayapaltan head office in the capital.
“But, this way, the government won’t to able to stop our movement as people of the country are with us. The movement will continue until the fulfillment of the people’s demand,” the BNP leader said.
Rizvi came down heavily on the prime minister’s son, Sajeeb Wazed Joy, for his recent comments that none will be spared, saying, “Who is he (Joy) not to spare anyone? Is he the sole owner of the country?”
The BNP joint secretary general further said: “He (Joy) had studied abroad… we thought there will be a touch of developed culture in his speeches. We don’t get any such evidence in his speech. Rather, he speaks like the son of a zaminder.”
