Garments workers went berserk in different areas of the capital protesting deaths of Savar tragedy on Friday morning.

Banglanews correspondents said workers staged protest and vandalized vehicles in Badda, Rampura, Malibagh, Shantinagar, Bijaynagar, Paltan and Fakirapul.

Officer-in-Charge of Paltan Thana Gola Sarwar told banglanews, “Labours have vandalized some vehicles and we are trying to take the situation under control.”

One of workers said, “The owners of Rana Plaza and garments should be hanged.”

At least 290 garments workers have been found dead and thousands others injured as an 8-storied building–Rana Plaza–collapsed in Savar bus stand area of Dhaka on Wednesday morning.
