GOPALGANJ: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will attend at a state arranged programme to observe the 93 th birth anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in Tungipara of the district on Sunday.
A fax message signed by PM’s protocol officer Sheikh Akhter Hossain disclosed the matter.
The premier will fly for Tungipara of Gopalganj from Tejgaon Airport at 9:10am on the day.
She will place floral wreath and offer fateha at the grave of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at about 10:00 am.
During the time, a team of three forces will give a guard of honor to the premier.
Later, she will attend at a children rally, discussion and cultural programme as chief guest organized by women and children affairs ministry at the premises of Mosque of Bangabandhu Memorial Complex in Tungipara at about 10.45 am.
She will inaugurate a book fair at the same venue organized by National Library at 12:40pm.
After attending in day’s programmes, the PM will fly for Dhaka at about 3:00pm.
