NOAKHALI (12, janu) : A youth was killed and another one injured in a road accident on Dhaka-Noakhali Highway in Bazra area under Sonaimuri upazila of the district on Saturday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Rubel, 22, son of late Sarif Uddin, resident of Panchgaon village of the upazila.
Witnesses said a pickup van crushed into their motorbike in the area, leaving them injured critically.
Passerby rushed them to Noakhali Medical College Hospital where duty doctor declared motorcyclist Rubel dead.
Sub-Inspector of Sudharam Thana Yasin Faruk told banglanews that the body was sent to hospital morgue for autopsy.
