2 return home after jail term in India

CHUADANGA (28 Dec.) : Indian Border Security Force on Friday sent back two Bangladeshi students after the expiry of their 13 months jail term for illegally intruding the country.

The returnees are Utpal Biswas, 16, of Satasia village under Kashiani upazila of Gopalganj and Sala Uddin, 18, of Alfadanga upazila of Faridpur.

The Bangladesh citizens were handed over to Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a flag meeting near main pillar no. 36 in Darshana upazila of the district around 12:30pm.

Sources said they went to visit their relative’s house in Chuadanga.  But they intruded into Indian territory unconsciously and BSF personnel held and sent them to Krishnanagar jail.
